LESFU is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

CASE PLANNER | PARENT /CASE AIDE INTERNS

CASE PLANNER
The primary responsibility of the Case Planner is to provide case planning and counseling services to families. The Case Planner is the member of the team who performs the tasks necessary to provide task focused counseling and case management services on behalf of families. B.A. degree is a must and preferably 2 years social work experience. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to understand LESFU concepts of prevention and case management. Also very important are skills in writing, especially ability to accurately record observations. Resident of Lower East Side preferable. Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferable.

PARENT / CASE AIDE INTERNS
LESFU works closely with students from several local colleges to provide a challenging and enriching internship for human services, psychology, and social work majors. As parent / case aide interns are exposed to a wide variety of issues and systems while they learn basic social work skills and receive quality supervision.
